A family friend will be out of state from Nov. thru Mar.,They want me to stay at their house How much ?

How much should I get paid?Should I even get paid??I live in a different town(45 min. away).I have been thinkng about moving there for over a year .So I am thinking of moving into that town any ways.What should I do?Any advice??
