after being terminated my boss made such an obvious attempt to stop me from unemployment benefits?

so ridiculious im verry suspicious that the scientology based business has something to hide . had they not been so despaerate to make sure i didnt get uneployment i would not even think anything. but something's fishy. they lied about the cuase of termination so i couldnt get benifits. how do i get even legaly?
